MNI FAMILY OF SMPS CONTROLLERS (Availability: December 2008)
MNI has developed a family of SMPS switchers that are form and feet compatible with the VIPER standard. They answer the increasing demand for monolithic SMPS controllers and provide the most cost-effective alternatives to the controllers available on the market.
MNI MN012A and MN022A take advantage of the X3DMOS process and get all the benefits inherent to its vertical DMOS technology.
MNI MN012A and MN022A are very power efficient and offer power savings much beyond the limits defined in the new efficiency standards.
MN012A and MN022A FEATURES
The MN012A and MN022A are monolithic, current-mode switching regulators, ideally suited for a wide range of low cost applications. They feature an internal regulator, soft start-up, thermal shutdown, Vdd over-voltage & undervoltage lockout, contained in an economical 8-pin DIP. For light load conditions, the controllers will automatically enter a burst-mode of operation, to maintain conversion efficiency.
